MIDDLETON MOUTAIN
Although called a mountain, Middleton isn’t a mountain at all,
it’s a hill that comes with its very own trail system. The
Middleton Mountain Circle Trail offers an unobstructed view of the Greater Vernon area, Monashee
Mountains, and Lumby Valley and plenty of opportunities to bird watch, spot wildlife, and enjoy all the
wildflowers native to the grasslands. Additionally, Middle Mountain Park is a great place to enjoy a variety of
outdoor activities in one convenient location, including tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, and even a
children’s playground. Perhaps the most appealing part of the Middleton Mountain area might be its proximity to
the spectacular Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park.
